A night of focused listening and live performances with the Wave Field Synthesis array. This event will highlight compositions by collaborating artists and include live performance elements. This event is part of the CURRENTSxRELAY "Orchestrated Systems" exhibition.

Palmerie @palmerie.sound

Adam Engle and Kara Gionfriddo are musicians and sound artists based in Santa Fe, NM. Their shared interests and studies include improvisation, musique concrète, field recording, and just intonation. They co-run Palmerie, a project which builds community and advances local artistic practice through explorations in sound, music, and attentive listening. As Palmerie, Adam and Kara have been facilitating collaborative practice, workshops, and public performances since 2023.

Sky Civilian @skyciv

Sky Civilian is a musician and producer, raised in a small town in Mississippi and currently located in Santa Fe, New Mexico. She is an electronic artist who pairs her background in classical French horn and piano with her love of dance music. In 2019, she signed to Dutch label Atomnation, releasing debut EP ‘Open Door’ and sophomore EP ‘At the Seams’, followed up with several singles and collaborations, including a series with Dutch legend Joris Voorn and another with the beloved Swedish duo Gidge. Her most recent EP ‘If I Could Swim I'd Bring You the Ocean’ is a collection of modestly crafted and absorbing confessionals. It is a fusion of dusty sounds, big feels and orchestral pop manoeuvres.

She has a series of forthcoming features due on Studio Golven in 2026. Studio Golven is supported by trance figurehead Armin van Buuren and created by Atomnation label-head Pascal Terstappen. The result is a series of dance-forward singles that push the limits of Sky’s vocal productions and performances.

Luna Galassini, an artist based in Truchas, New Mexico, explores historical narratives of extraction in New Mexico through sound art.

Eric Heep @dkfjsal

is an artist based in Santa Fe, New Mexico. His work combines custom electronics, procedural sound, code, and unconventional materials - including bricks - to create immersive sensory environments. Recent projects focus on volumetric light, haze, and large-scale sound systems, exploring how physical space, intensity, and repetition shape perception and experience
